Reporting into the General Manager of HR, this is a fantastic opportunity for an HR Manager looking to develop their career and take a step up. With a truly collaborative and supportive culture, this firm really holds people at the core of their business and is heavily invested in enabling their personal and professional development.

Supporting an employee base of around 150, you will primarily be supporting the Partnership across the NSW office, providing advice and guidance on all HR related issues. Advising on everything from performance management and employee relations through to succession and workforce planning initiatives, you will be carrying out a full, generalist role. Alongside the day-to-day management of the HR function in NSW, you will be responsible for the implementation of National HR initiatives including wellbeing programs and Learning and Development agendas.

With 2 direct reports, this role will afford you the opportunity to act as a mentor to a small HR team, allowing them to grow and develop their careers.

With relevant tertiary qualifications in HR and a demonstrable track record of success in an HR Advisory capacity, the successful candidate will be a self-starter with a pro-active approach to HR. An excellent relationship builder, it is imperative that you are comfortable advising at all levels and in acting as a true Business Partner to the Senior Leadership team in NSW.

You must possess a strong knowledge of employment law and be comfortable operating in a unionised environment.
